Pippa Wardman
I have always enjoyed stitching, I can remember making small mice, doing cross-stitch and using my pocket money to buy 12" of trimmings which were always too precious to use. As an adult I discovered quilting and joined the Quilters' Guild of Great Britain. I have been Young Quilters representative for Region 14 and have helped with various workshops. I am also a member of the Quilters' Guild Contemporary Quilt Group and enjoy taking part in their challenges. I am also part of CQ14, my local CQ regional group.
I have made made things like the SuperQuilter above which was used to raise money at the Quilters Guild conference in Scarborough some years ago. I have made pictorial quilts like the Daffodils pictured on the home page. I also have 2 years of small journal quilts made as part of the Contemporary Quilt group challenge. This challenge of making a small quilt each month is a great way to try lots of things out. I have made quilts that I love and quilts that I hate, quilts made in sad times and quilts made on holiday. Here are a few of the ones I like, click on any one to see a description and run them as a slideshow.
